Independent Study in Image Recognition

During the Fall 2018 semester, senior computer science major Sam Henry did an independent study with Professor Jim Knisely and Joel Davis of Follett Labs. He produced an app to be used as part of Follett's Classroom Library Manager. The features that he produced included batch scanning of the ISBN numbers on books, scanning and flattening the cover of a book, and scanning ISBN text using OCR.

Sam Henry was hired by Follett School Solutions prior to his graduation in May 2019.
